Invitation to Bid

NOTICE is hereby given that Senior Canyon Mutual Water Company (Senior Canyon or Company), Ojai, California, will receive sealed bids for performing the construction of FEMA Funding Facilities Repair Service Area Pipeline F2 – Nightingale Pipeline project (“Project”) according to the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Inc.; the proposed Contract, and the Bid Documents. Sealed bids will be received Thursday, May 1, 2025, 4:00 PM local time.

Senior Canyon operates and maintains a public water system serving a portion of the east Ojai Valley.  The winter 2023 storm events caused considerable damage to the Company’s public water system necessitating repairs. The Company has been awarded funding through FEMA grants to assist in the repair work, including the Project, which is generally described as the construction of approximately 850 feet of 8-inch buried potable water pipeline and appurtenances.

The Bid Documents, Proposed Contract, Drawings and Specifications, and any Addenda may be downloaded below.  Interested Bidders that have downloaded the documents shall email the Engineer, Jack Stobaugh at JackStobaugh@kennedyjenks.com with the subject line “Nightingale Pipeline Project Bidder” and message containing Bidder’s name and contact information to ensure receipt of any notices and addenda.
